A native Californian, I focus on integrating creativity and mindfulness with personal effectiveness and human potential. I'm passionate about leadership development and aligning talent initiatives to business success. I'm currently the Executive Vice President of HR and Marketing Communications for a nation-wide healthcare provider. When I'm not coaching talented executives to success, I'm a professional artist, specializing in landscape and beach scenic pastels.

Education/Certifications: I grew up near Long Beach and obtained a Bachelor of Arts at UCLA. Hudson Institute of Coaching, Certified Executive Coach TTI Certified Professional Behavioral Analyst (DISC) TTI Certified Professional Motivators Analyst Achieve Global Leadership Development Chapman University Art4Healing Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).

Types Of Clients: Executives, High Potential Employees and Business Owners in HealthCare, High Tech, Fine Art industries.

Favorite Part About My Job: Coaching women and helping them develop into successful, authentic leaders.

Steadfast Do's and Don'ts: Do's - find yourself a couple of mentors you really admire (you'll learn a lot and they'll be flattered to help you), volunteer (in the business and outside) to gain experience outside your area of expertise, use creative and mindfulness practices to start each day with your best foot forward. Don'ts - submit anything written with typos - the quality of your work is a reflection on how much you care, be afraid to ask for help, immediately react to others and situations, take a minute to breath before responding

Most important qualities of a good leader: Being authentic, focused on making everyone better, creative, accountable to their team, being curious and courageous to understand and challenge

My Advice for women starting their careers: Invest the time and energy to truly understand your passion - your gifts and calling in life, it will save you a lot of energy and frustration during your career journey.

Advice I wish I'd had (or had followed): I wish I had taken more time to breathe along the way, to appreciate the present and how far I had come, instead of focusing so much on the next step.

Quote I live By: Your life is made of two dates and a dash. Make the most of the dash.
