Come join us Virtually for our 2021 Leadership Summit on November 4th, 2021 starting at 8am Eastern Time! It will be a full day of leadership development training! Topics that will be discussed by our amazing panelists:

  • Executive Skills & Training

And roll-up your sleeves for workshops between panel discussions on:

  • Executing a Successful Career Plan
  • Building Your Professional Brand
  • Prioritizing Your Financial Success

Standard Ticket: $345
Virtual Ticket Price: $195

No Refund Policy. Registration fees for SharpHeels Events are non-refundable. A registrant may transfer their registration to another SharpHeels event (within the next year) or transfer the registration to another person with at least 72 hours’ notice.

Parking not included. The ticket does not include parking or transportation. We will offer some suggestions at the hotel (valet & self-parking options), but we suggest public transportation, car-pooling or ride-sharing apps.

No Heels Required. Everyone is welcome to attend our events, regardless of their footwear preferences 😉

Continuing Education. We will provide a certificate of completion after attending the event for 8hrs of Leadership Training if requested. Please let us know if you’d like us to reach out to a particular organization/association to confirm continuing education credits, and if you need a certificate.

Health/Safety Precautions. We will be implementing enhanced health & safety measures to align with local and state laws. As such, SharpHeels Career Summits are small, intimate events for local professionals and will have a limited number of onsite tickets available based on safety precautions.

Panel Discussions & Workshops (Eastern Time):

8:00-8:30am: Check-in & Waiting Room
Check into the Registration Desk or Sign-in to your Zoom Link and make sure everything is ready to go for 8:30am kick-off

8:30-9:00am: Kick-off
Our Mistress of Ceremonies will kick-off the day with an overview of the importance of Career Planning and Leadership Development and will discuss the panels and workshops for the day.

9:00-9:45am: Panel: Career Planning & Pivots
Hear executives discuss how career planning and career pivots impacted their careers, how important mentors and supporters were for their careers, how they set career goals, advice on career changes, and insights on negotiating a promotion.

10:00-11:00am: Workshop: Career Planning (Plan/Goals/Execution)
Conducted by a career coach, the career planning workshop and worksheets are designed to help attendees build and execute an easy career plan for the short-term (1 yr), mid-term (2-5 yrs) and long term (5 yrs+) goals. Attendees will also be asked to set and accomplish at least 3 career action items over the next 6-12 months. (If you attended a SharpHeels Career Summit last year, please try to bring last year’s worksheets)

11:15-12:00pm: Panel: Managing Obstacles & Mishaps
Hear executives discuss their biggest career obstacles and how they overcame them (Work-Life Balance, Job Loss, Losing Career Direction, Lacking the right Experience, etc.). In addition to top career mishaps and how they avoided and/or embraced career them.

12:00-12:45pm: Lunch
Enjoy a long break and grab something for lunch

12:45-1:45pm: Workshop: Leadership Development
Conducted by an executive coach, this workshop will train attendees on the key success factors for building your professional brand, enhancing your executive presence and how to be a thought leader at your company and in your industry.

2:00-2:45 pm: Panel: Building Leadership Skills
Hear executives discuss how they developed leadership skills throughout their career journey, insights on becoming more visible and recognizable within their organizations and how to manage the perception of their value.

3:00-4:00pm: Workshop: Financial Success
In this workshop you’ll learn financial literacy and the importance of understanding and managing your finances, in addition to smart ways to invest, prepare for unexpected expenses, and plan & negotiate yearly bonuses & raises. 

4:15-5:00pm: Panel: Impactful & Versatile Leadership
Hear executives discuss how to lead and inspire people, the importance of emotional and cultural intelligence, how to manage through internal and external change, and communicating a clear vision.
