Three Steps to Transform Your Office Look, Into A Dinner and Drinks Look
The style of make-up for a night out on the town is not always acceptable in the office. Darker eyeshadow and brighter lips are a too bold of a combo in the work space. That is why we came up with a few quick-fixes to transform your make-up in under ten minutes.
1. Add a Pop of Color & A Dark Liner
Taking your make-up to the next level can be as easy as putting on lipstick. A bold lip color can make any outfit look dramatic and polished. Stand out from the crowd at night with a vibrant pink or red lip. Statement lips are a necessity when going out. Also, you can add some more drama to your face by applying a darker black or navy liner to your eye lid. This will really help to define your eyes. This is also the perfect time to bring out a cat-eye (tip: gel liners work best for this). Adding a little eyeliner on to your lower water mark can also be done, but be sure to get an eyeliner that is made for this. Other eyeliners will irritate your eyes, and cause them to be red and itchy. M.A.C is known to have a good eye liner for this.

2. Darken Your Shadow & Flush Your Blush
Add a darker color to the crease and outer corner of your eye. This will help to give off a smokey-eye look even though you didn’t plan on it at all. A darker eye liner will need to be used with a darker eye shadow. A shimmery color shadow should also be applied to the inner corner of your eye to make you appear more awake. Make your cheek bones pop with a brighter blush at night. You can even apply a small bit of the bright lipstick you will be wearing on the apples of your cheeks, and rub it in circularly with your fingers.

3. Refresh Your Face & Lashes
Add another layer of mascara to make sure that your bold look will be carried out. However, you do not want to over-do it and end up with flakey mascara all night. Just another coat should do you fine. To refresh your face mist it with a facial spritz. Keep in mind that this should be done before any other make-up is applied. After the spray has dried, a loose translucent powder is enough to eliminate any shine from the day. You don’t want to put on too much more face powder and end up looking cakey. BareMinerals powder is a mineral veil so it is very absorbent, and less likely to cause any break outs if your makeup is smudged or sweated off.
